At Leigh Place the festive season serves as a reminder of the importance of belonging, compassion and community.
At this special time of year, we recognise that the holidays can mean different things to different people. Our role is to ensure every person feels respected, supported, and included, whatever the season brings.
Creating Meaningful Moments
Across Leigh Place, the festive season is marked by thoughtful activities, shared celebrations and opportunities for residents to participate in ways that are meaningful to them. Whether it’s decorating shared spaces, enjoying special meals, music and performances, or simply spending time together in conversation, these moments help foster connection and joy.
Importantly, residents are always supported to choose how they wish to engage. Respecting individual preferences, cultural traditions and personal beliefs remains central to our approach, ensuring celebrations are inclusive and person-centred.
Gratitude for Our Community
The holiday season is also an opportunity to say thank you. We extend our sincere appreciation to our residents, families and stakeholders for the trust you place in us every day. We also acknowledge our dedicated staff, whose commitment, professionalism and kindness continue throughout the year – including during public holidays and busy periods.
We are equally grateful to our volunteers, partners and broader community who support our residents in so many meaningful ways.
As we close another year, we reflect on the moments that have brought us together and look forward to the year ahead with optimism. Our commitment to providing safe, respectful and high-quality care remains steadfast.
From all of us at Leigh Place, we wish our residents, families, staff and community a safe, peaceful and joyful holiday season.
