Wherever possible, we encourage our residents to continue their medical care under the same doctor they chose prior to living at Leigh Place. Alternatively, our care staff assist residents or their families to choose a medical practitioner from the area. Please note that families or representatives of our residents are responsible for their transportation to and from medical appointments. Where possible, we are happy to assist in making these arrangements.
If you or your family member would like your GP to visit you at Leigh Place, we are happy to arrange this for you. We also organise specialist appointments and same day pharmacy deliveries. As you would expect, any changes a resident might wish to make in relation to their medication must be made in consultation with their doctor.
