Leigh Place is pleased to announce the appointment of two new Directors, Sherrie Boucher and Maree O’Brien, to the Board.
Both bring extensive experience across aged care, health and governance, further adding to the depth and diversity of skills guiding Leigh Place. Their appointments complement the expertise of the existing Directors and come at an important time for the sector, as providers continue to navigate reform under the new Aged Care Act and strengthened quality standards.
Sherrie brings deep clinical and operational insight, with a strong focus on governance, quality systems and regulatory compliance across aged care and community services. Maree contributes significant leadership experience, with strengths in strategy, organisational performance, and governance across complex service environments.
Chair, Raad Richards and all Directors warmly welcome Sherrie and Maree, recognising the valuable perspectives they will bring to Board deliberations. Their appointments reflect Leigh Place’s ongoing commitment to strong governance, continuous improvement, and delivering high-quality care and services to residents.
